Worse day of my life....

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, my baby girl, my best fur buddy, and most trusted companion has not been able to over come the kidney failure. I will forever be indebted to her friendship and love. There will be no other like her to me [emoji174]

Sorry you are dealing with 2 failing pets [emoji171][emoji174]

We love them so much and we DO know someday they have to go....still hurts so deeply ...

First time I do not have a dog. Ever! Miss that "doorbell". Not ready for vet and hair and pee and poop and rain walks... Maybe someday again. I miss the company. ALOT

Hope you have good friends and a good cry...

Thank you @@Julie norton It's definitely so hard. We knew our aging diabetic kitty was losing ground but our dog was only 10 and looked as healthy as good be. Thought for sure we had another 5 yrs with her (small dachshund apso x) Coming home and not being met at the door with kisses and excitement from everyone is hard. My lone kitty (1.5 yr old) is so lost with out his buddies. I will get a companion kitty for him soon but not sure that I can do another puppy again either. Besides, my girl will be so hard to replace

I'm at least able to talk with out bursting into I stand tears now, so I am managing. I know most have been through this and I'm not alone but gosh darn it's hard.

Fat Free - I'm sorry for the loss of Max and that your dog is not doing well :( I have had many fur babies in my life and I know the pain of losing them. Thinking of you...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
