SO i was sleeved 12/10/2015 and I'm pretty much at the eat anything phase but according to the meal plan options my doctor gave me I should be able to eat like 2 scrambled eggs and a small banana for Breakfast but I literally can't finish one whole scrambled egg. Is that really bad?

I was sleeved 12/17 and I am right there with you. I can get down about 3/4 of an egg or half of a banana but anymore than that is out of the question!

We are all so different, especially earlier on when we are recovering from the surgery. I am still on 5 small meals a day, otherwise I wouldnt get all my Protein in (100 gr). You may find that you can eat more of one thing and not so much of another, so its a case of just trying to see what works and what doesnt. I had my surgery at the end of July last year and I am only at the stage of having two eggs scrambled and If I eat boiled eggs, I can only have one. Just go with what your body is telling you.

Congratulations :)

I'm 18 months out and there is NO WAY I could eat two eggs AND a banana for breakfast. That's a lot! I can eat maybe one egg with a little cheese on it and half a sausage patty these days....

I'm six and a half months out and I can only eat one scrambled egg with a little cheese. I would be in a world of hurt if I ate two plus a banana.

I think whoever wrote your meal plan has scrambled brains. Just sayin'.

I am four years out and probably couldn't finish that. Just eat what you can and make sure you are getting all of your Protein.

My Doctor must've missed most of my stomach as I can easily hold that much food only 4 months out. Different strokes for different folks,,, or should I say different cuts for different nuts. :)

I'm four months out and I can eat a couple eggs. Im definitely full after that though. Not sure how much I could add beyond it.

I get a quarter banana in on many mornings in my Protein Shake smoothie. But that's blended.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
