This is going to sound crazy but I am not going to weigh myself for another 2 weeks when I go back to see the nutritionist .I am on soft foods.I can't take or handle a stall right now....Wouldn't be able to handle it...sounds crazy but I know me...compulsive.I need the first 50 pounds off to feel like this bypass is really working....sometimes I think..."did I really get a bypass?I really went through with this?"It blows my mind!

I'm due to get bypass in hopefully April. Waiting for some tests and the doctors decision then we move from there. I too live in Pittsburgh. Where about are you? I'm in the south hills. McMurray. Don't be so hard on yourself. Stalls happen. Not from anything your doing. It's just part of it all. Hang in there????

Hello, I'm new to the site as well. I'm 7 weeks out and had my surgery in Pittsburgh. I have already had a stall for about two weeks but started losing again this week. Frustrating, but I feel so good. I lost 60 before surgery and 25 post op. At 85 lb loss I'm half way to my goal. Best of luck!

April 26 will be our 19th wedding anniversary, so I will remember your date for sure! I had my surgery at Magee. It went really well.

Awe Happy Anniversary to you! I'm guessing that's why your name has 426 in it????

So glad your surgery went well. Guess we will both have something big to remember that date by!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
