Nobody wants my food!

Recommended Posts

Well before my sleeve never could keep my favorite foods in my house. My children and their friends would eat everything. Lol now my food going bad and nobody wants to eat my food. Has anyone else had trouble sharing their food or Snacks with other. I was cleaning out my refrigerator this morning and had to giggle a little.

Nope because I've cooked somewhat healthy for the past few years my children eat what I cook. I'm 11 weeks out now though so I'm not sure what you're eating but I make a lot of baked chicken, fish, zoodles, seafood. Salad's. Not sure how far you are out but I also still buy some of the same things for them to eat so that they don't feel like they are being punished.

Well my children are 18 and 21 and both live at home. They do their own cooking as they are very independent adult. You can't force grown children to eat what you prepare for meals. I was speaking mostly about wasting food and nobody to share my type of food choices with them. My taste buds has changed so much not everybody can eat the same way as me. So that being said some of my food goes to waste. Would like some ideas on better ways to make my food last longer.

Hi! I got tiny tupperware containers - tiny- the smallest they make holds half a cup I believe. Then, I batch cook(just did turkey chili) and freeze half of more of it in the tiny Tupperware. Easy to reheat.

But otherwise I know what you mean - I just threw out yogurt cottage cheese and even chicken. I think we need to get used to buying less! My motto used to be to stock up while shopping. But now my fridge is really sparse.

Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
