My surgery date is December 16th!

Hello, mine is the 17th!

I'm scheduled for 12/10

Not yet. I start it on the 10th! :( Nervous!

December 18th!!!!

Dec 9th!

I'm allowed 900 calories until my surgery. My surgeon has me on two protein shakes and a lean cuisine for dinner. If I have extra calorie I can snack on apple slices and baby carrots.

I'm soo excited mine is on the 17th...are any of y'all on a liquid diet yet?

I just got "banded" today. My appointmet was 0800 hours this morning and I was home just after 1:00 P.M. (I had about an hour and a half drive). I'm pretty slow moving, but I'm moving. I can't wait to see the changes in the coming weeks!! Make sure you have the GasX strips. I can definitely feel the gas in my stomach and arms/shoulders areas. Not enough for me to take my pain medication, but a little bit uncomfortable. I'm walking 10 minutes every hour and although uncomfortable (probably from the gas pain), I am able to do it with relative ease.

Good luck on your surgery!!!

My surgery is scheduled for December 17th. I am excited. I am doing two Protein shakes a day and one low carb meal. My Snacks are mainly protein like cheese (mozzarella sticks); almonds; pistachios; and sugar free Jello.

@banded_jam how did the surgery go?

Surgery was a breeze. Went into a cold room and took a little nap. Total trip took about 9 hours including the 3.5 in the car. Taking the pain meds and only water today. Gas pain is real but tolerable.

Oh...it was today.
