  1. I'm slowly approaching my green zone I'm at 6 cc now with a 10 cc band. I have felt more restriction longer than with my previous fills. I hope the next fill will put me completely in the green.

  3. @@kiba78 me too I was telling everyone don't skimp on any food food because I can't eat it. I had more time to talk laugh and joke so it was a great Christmas holiday. even more so because I hosted Christmas dinner this year. We potlucked the menu and I'm overjoyed that everyone enjoyed themselves

  5. @@kiba78 I am on full liquids too but my surgeon told my mom I could puree food as long as no particle was larger than a bb so I had pureed candy yams and green beans for Christmas dinner. A table spoon each and just to be the safe side I ate it with a baby spoon lol
  6. @@windysample great best wishes for a successful procedure and a smooth recovery
  7. Happy holidays @@banded4change! Safe travels and best wishes
  8. Gas pains are random now but a lot better. I'm really sore near my port area and it hurts for my clothes to touch the area (weird) I hadn't been able to sleep laying down yet. Sleeping on my side hurts so I've been sleeping in an oversized living room chair. I had to work tomorrow and I'm hoping my hour commute doesn't give me any trouble.

  10. @@kiba78 yes I'm on the gas x strips and doing plenty of walking. The hospital called today to check on me and told me to try the heating pad on my shoulders. Also took a backwards shower to help relax my back and shoulder muscles

  13. Yesterday was my surgery date. I'm officially banded. I woke up from anesthesia feeling like I had been stomped repeatedly in the stomach but after some good meds the pain subsided. My travel time home was about an hour. I would sleep an hour or so and get up and get walking. The next 48 I expect to be hell due to the trapped gas but I've got gas x and milk of magnesia to help me out.
  14. jiggyiggy120 My surgery date is 12/18/2015. I wish you the best!

  16. Kiba, I've stocked up in chicken and beef broth, cream of wheat, premier Protein shakes, and Gatorade. I have to get sugar free popsicles. I wanted to get done things after surgery because I didn't want to buy a bunch of stuff and not like it.

  21. I'm allowed 900 calories until my surgery. My surgeon has me on two protein shakes and a lean cuisine for dinner. If I have extra calorie I can snack on apple slices and baby carrots.
