I Fell Off The Wagon Big Time. Please Judge Me Harshly!

Recommended Posts

You sound like me and I can guarantee we're plenty hard on ourselves without needing anyone else to judge us. Forgive and treat yourself with love and respect, like you probably give to everyone around you but yourself. It's so hard to turn all of those loving thoughts to ourselves like we do all the mean and punishing thoughts! Chin up!

have to echo all of the other thoughts... you have to be soft towards yourself. you messed up, but it already happened. what's important is what you do with today. You can reflect on what caused you to eat outside of your plan, accept that it happened and make plans to keep it from happening again... so you don't feel this guilty and terrible afterwards.

I don't ask myself yet you did it, I ask myself why not. It's easy you did it because it was there. You were able to eat it because it was in your house. You, just like the rest of us need to make sure it is not that easy to access.

I know for Thanksgiving we are going out to eat and I am going to make a small meal for my family on Sunday. When everyone leaves I will make sure they take everything with them except for the leftover turkey.

If you want to eat give yourself permission to do so. And don't beat yourself up we have done this for years and it is what got us here in the first place.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Remember this is a mental change as well. Did you ever address the reason behind your weight gain, mind set, and eating habits? Like another poster said you acknowledged the situation but how are you going to cope in the future? Have a plan for holidays and get the crap out of your house. You got this!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
