HOLY ****! Sorry, for the language, but seriously! LOOK AT YOU!!! I needed to see this today. Super inspiring. So happy for you. Keep up the good work!

Can I ask how often your working out and what you're doing?

Thanks!

Hey Pokey!

I can't lie but I really haven't been doing a whole lot of working out. I will do a little cardio here and there but that is about it. :-( I REALLY need to get on top of working out again in hopes that I can lose the last 18 pounds to reach my goal and hopefully work on some toning. But I have definitely been a bad girl and haven't been working out at all.

Wow! Gorgeous! I am so anxious to get approved for surgery! I'm still doing all of the requirements needed by my insurance company. Today I did the barium swallow test icky!!! I have other stuff to do too. The one thing I'm not happy about is the 6 month supervised diet :(

This was a fun one … 1st : your a beautiful girl even before the sleeve

2nd : now your a "shock and awe" beautiful girl

This is why we all do it (okay most of us) to Look better, Feel better and start enjoying our lives to the fullest!

Always giving back.

An inspiration to us all.

Damn.

All I can say is you are gorgeous.

I'll bet there wasn't a guy at that party that wasn't drooling and stumbling all over themselves to talk to you.

I'm proud of you for taking control of things while you are young. You will benefit from your actions for the rest of your life. Trust me.....old guy talking here......There are many problems you have eliminated from occurring by taking charge right now at this point in your life.

Well done, young lady. Well done.

That is really cool to see you not only enjoying going to the Halloween party.....but to be confused with a movie star at the same time.....really cool. :P

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
