Hello, I'm in the same situation I also have 3 kids the 1st one 16 the other 2 r 6 in December. I had them at 41 very bless twins. I just hate the weight I can't do as much as I want with them. A few health issues to. I'm scheduled 4-5-2016 insurance requires 6 months. So u loss some weight before the surgery that's awesome. Im trying but they said if I get below the bmi it would b canceled because of insurance requirements. Best of luck to and your children!!

Bmi is 36.88 with few problems high blood pressure, high sugar cholesterol high and high risk for heart disease doctor filled out my medical necessary for for a good candidate. I have uhc r they hard to get approval meet with sugeon he set my date for 4-5-16 . They said they submit it 2 weeks before my date. Any advise would b helpfull. Thanks

Hello I have uhc community plan also the lady who I talk to throw the insurance said the same thing your did she was wrong. My friend has the same one I do same surgeon she just got her surgery done 6 months supervision. The surgeon told me the same thing . I Googled the requirements for uhc bartiatrics Sugery and it said 6 months all the requirements. So all said and done that's the deal it's been 2 months already it does go by quick because of all the things u have to do .faster than I thought. My date is 4-5-16 . They told me 2 weeks before that date they submit my letter medically necessary and all the other info . That woorries me . always some kind of BS. Hope some of this info helps u. Good luck to ya.

I have uhc and they told me and the surgeon there is 6 months supervision. When I went to my consulationthe surgeon set my date rite after we meet and talked about the sleeve. My date is for 4-5-2016. So far it really is going fast.I though it would drag but I'm so worried about all the things I have to do that's what makes it go by quicker. I'm from central nj. Everything is going to b fine u will see it really does go by quicker than u think . Did
