Hi Picklebritches! I am 8/23, too! Yipee, one week tomorrow! Are you ready for the ride? I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster with emotions. Happy, sad, crabby, exited, thrilled, frightened--all within 10 seconds.

this whole process leading up to this band has taken 5 months but, looking back it hasn't seemed as though it has been that long since i made the decision to go to the informational meeting in april.

are you on a pre-op liquid diet?

Hey Mr123,

8/23 is my band date, too. ONE WEEK AND COUNTING....7,6,5...it's getting close, it doesn't seem real yet though. Probably by next Thursday evening I'll be a basket case..I hope I don't back out. How are you doing in prep for the big day?

I have had band slippage and scheduled for surgery on 8/28/07.
