Hi PigsRFlying,

I'm really nervous as I think I may be taking the Lovenox my Dr. prescribed wrong. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow and call and find out. I thought he said to give myself one injection daily but the prescription says twice daily. I've had two DVTs so am nervous about having another.

How are you feeling? who is doing your surgery?

I'll be praying for you. Would you please say a prayer for me also? Thanks, Carolyn

hey Bandzski, I had my band done by Dr. Deol last month... had first fill today! good luck!

I'm so glad to have found someone else with the same doctor. Please keep me informed on your progress. Dr. Deol seems very competent, thorough and caring. I'm glad she will be doing my surgery. I'm not the least bit nervous. How long were you on Medifast? I'm on week 2 of 4. I found it really hard at first, but it seams easier as I go. How long did it take you to get approved? It took me 7 months once I started my testing. My PCP put me through the ringer! At least now I know I'm healthy... inside and out! How are you feeling after the fill? Sorry about all the questions, I'm just excited to see someone else with the same doc on here.

Marilyn Zski

surgery date 8-27-07

Dr. Deol, Troy, Mich.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
