Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?

I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on October 6th (started the process on March 1st, 2015.) I'd love to have a "surgery buddy" who is having the procedure the same day or very close to the date. Anyone interested?

ikr! Hubby has his hands full with me..lol in 28 days I will be in the Turks and caicos. I'm hoping to be down another 15 pounds! Started gym yesterday. I have to have release from Dr before they let me do anything more than walking.

I was told to stay off the scale for that reason. Week three and four I was told were the point our body is trying to figure out what is going on and catching up to the changes. It is like ah...some food again! Hide the scale for a little while, that way when you do go back for a check up or you step on in a few weeks it is a huge change.

I just had a 3 day stall myself. But, I had to drink Smooth Move tea last night to encourage a bowel movement. It worked (with lots of uncomfortable cramping) but at least my 3 day stall has ended. Down a lb.

I got to just keep pooping regulary which is not easy.

Yay!

I don't think you call it a stall if you stay the same weight for a couple of days and you just had the surgery. I think everyone should stop putting so much pressure on your selves. The weight will come off as long as you are doing it right. Not eating taking your meds anything that is done to maybe loose the weight quick can cause a stall. So slow and steady will win the race.

Have any of you added any spice in your soups? Like pepper?

I just put jalapeno peppers in my chili in which I pureed..it was yummy

Your funny. I just came home with spicy V8. I have to drink it slow or I start to cramp up. You are right it's good.

the Campbell's creamy tomato cup of soup was a little thick for me so I added the spicy v8...for breakfast I had a pouch of lemon pepper salmon it is really good to

Does your husband eat at the same times as you? Or do you cook separately?

I cooked chili for the kids and hubby tonight. Then I made myself Tilapia over lettuce, spinach, radishes, tomato, low fat cheese, cucumber and rice wine vinegar. YUM!

oh I Love it! I'm just starting my journey. I have 5 more visits to my PCP. Next week I see the psych and NUT, but I'm starting to to make changes already in order to be prepared for the post op life changes.

So I am 17 days post-op and I am lagging way behind most of you in the actual weight lost department. Not sure its a stall since I never really started. I've lost 6 lbs since surgery (I lost the same amount the week before surgery on a cleat liquid diet for 3 of those days). Starting to think they did something wrong or did not remove enough of my stomach or something. I have had NO problems getting enough liquids/proteins or eating anything I have tried.
