I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on October 6th (started the process on March 1st, 2015.) I'd love to have a "surgery buddy" who is having the procedure the same day or very close to the date. Anyone interested?

That's a great idea. I'm on the 5th so I'll do my best to post as soon as I can post op. Right now I love those posts from people freshly post op. They make me feel less nervous.

I will try my best to do post op also. I go tomorrow for my preop registration and specific instructions. It has started to set in that it's real! ????

Just got approved! Surgery date: Oct 13th. Im excited yet terrified. Ive been over weight all my life and have lost & gained it back many times. Im not a fan of surgeries at all, but I sure hope this tool helps me get it together.

Let me tell you it is tough not thinking about the last supper. I need to stay strong this last week.

There is already an October 2015 sleevers group on fb, I saw it on another thread and asked to be added. It is supposed to be a secret group so you can't search it. I will find out more when they add me if anyone wants to join that
