Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?

I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on October 6th (started the process on March 1st, 2015.) I'd love to have a "surgery buddy" who is having the procedure the same day or very close to the date. Anyone interested?

Hurts when I drink water. But getting better. I wanted to take a nap but the nurse made me stay awake and drink

Doing well so far. Feels like a stomach cramp. The surgical team just inspected my sutures and said they looked good.

Feeling great to be looking forward to recovery rather than surgery!

That away sleeve girl. Get those pain meds!

Just got home. Everything seemed to take just a little longer than expected. Arrived at hospital at 11:30 for 2:15 surgery, but I didn't have surgery until after 5 so there were several hours of nerve-wracking waiting. Today I was supposed to be discharged between 1-2 but they didn't get all their ducks in a row until after 6....more sitting around waiting. I have a little soreness but nothing too terrible. Now, I am enjoying my premier protein shake, first non-clear liquid food I've had in 5 days....its so good! LOL.

Pain is almost non existent this morning. I have been walking six times a day so far and it seems to have helped greatly. How are you doing?

I have been up walking. It really helps with the gas. No pain so far..I just got my morphine so I'm going night night...I have done well today

The nurse finally gave me the right combo of pain and nasea meds so I'm feeling much better! How are you doing on your first day at home?

I am on Monday as well....its going to be a long 5 days! I'm nervous but very anxious to get this part over with. All my pre-op stuff went well. They said I am "very healthy" and should come through this just fine. I thought "sure I'm healthy except for the whole morbid obesity thing!"

EXACTLY!

Just drank my first few ounces. No pain and no nausea????

Why three leak tests? What was wrong with the first one...or two?

Hope things are ok.

Sounds like my Dat on October 5

I left on the 6th around 530p.

Little sore my self however I am happy to get over with this part I'm not doing shakes until next Monday they want me to do clear liquids. I didn't have to do a leak test they did it while under anesthesia.

My dr requires 3 on all of his patients
