Pain Under Ribcage

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

Question for you. Let me preface this by saying I have contacted my dr. office and will follow up accordingly.

I'm 1 month post op from band to GP revision. Two mornings ago I stretched in a weird way, and felt a popping or tearing under my left ribcage. It hurt and it's still sore. I called my doctors office in a panic and she said "how do you feel"? Hahaa! I actually feel fine. No fever or nausea. I'm eating just fine, still getting in my fluids in but it's just sore like I've been working out. She said it was probably scar tissue but watch for hemorrhaging in my bm's. (Yah that will be in 3 days! Sorry.. Lol)

Just wondering if anyone has had something similar. Thanks!

Yes, I did about a week ago! I stretched while laying on my side, sleeping, and I felt a similar sensation. Then I had pain for about a day when I moved, breathed, or yawned. Then it just went away and I have felt fine since then. Monday will be 4 weeks post op for me. Hope you're doing well!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
