Hi I was sleeved 8/20 and everything went great !! I am 2 weeks out and now I am dealing with acne, vomiting and fatigued. I also have this nasty taste in my mouth I brush my teeth all day and it doesn't help. I am dealing with a lot and I am trying to stay optimistic but it is hard. Is anyone going thru similar things ??

Your skin will get better. Fatigue is normal for about a month. Hopefully you were prescribed Zofran. That helps with the vomiting. That lovely breath you have is because we're in ketosis. All of your symptoms will get better. We just had major surgery, give yourself time. Good luck. ❤️

Also be careful, I know of several people who got thrush after surgery due to the antibiotics they have us take. I know I was on some very strong ones and had a 'touch' of thrush, but didn't need the meds to get rid of it. But it does give you a bad taste and makes tastes stay on your tongue awhile.

Wanted to give an update I am doing much better. I had to be readmitted to the hospital and spent 12 days due to severe dehydration and not keeping anything down. I had an extreme case of nauseous and vomitting .

Everything now is falling into place , here is a pic of my progresspost-261349-14476007516163_thumb.jpg

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
