Will you be trying to change their diets after you have surgery? Why not have a talk with them about helping you out now by eating more healthfully. You shouldn't be having to go get macdonalds and donuts. That's so unfair. Your life is about to change and they need to realize it has to change for everyone

They are mostly eating better because I am cooking more and healthier meals. I think sometimes they just want the treats that I can't have. It is hard yes, but I will have to deal with those around me eating poorly not always at home, but at work and with friends as well.

That's true. I just think now is a very hard time for you to be around those foods and I feel for you. I was lucky and didn't have to do a pre op diet
