someone sent a post that one saturday a month there is a luncheon in plano, i would like to know about it also; i see you were researching the surgery, have you been to one of Dr. Jay's seminars? You really should go to one or he has support group meetings in mckinney, call his office to attend one;

Hi Julie,

So you've been banded for a couple weeks and still aren't feeling well? I'd like to know more about that if you don't mind sharing. I'm considering the surgery, but would probably have to go back to work full time after a week off. I've heard people say they have gone back right away. Are you having a lot of trouble? I'm still in the nervous stage about this surgery.

I feel great; most people do go back in a week, i have 10 people in my office who have had it done in the past 3 years and went back after 2 weeks; for me being diabetic you heal slower and also it was easier for me to take short term disability so i did it; you willl be great; don't even question it please; do you have any health problems? email me too: jamoorse@comcast.net

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
