YES.......It is true

There will always be tomorrow morning.

The only difference between one day and the next is what you decide to do with it.

What you do does make a difference, too. Even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time, and even if you seem to be headed away from your goals rather than toward them, you are the most important actor in your life.

Every day we make choices.

Every evening as we get ready for bed, we are the consequences of the day’s choices. The final choice we make at the end of the day is to either give up, especially after a discouraging experience, or to rededicate yourself to your path starting the next morning.

I know in my case I was always trying to make sure that everyone else was taken care of first. But as my weight began to skyrocket my health began to turn for the worst.

Fearing that I was going to have all the same troubles that my mom had I knew that I need to start thinking about myself first.

I believe very strongly that the lap band journey is more about making more good choices then bad choices. In any case we cannot rely on anyone else to make the good choices for us.

Even though there is always tomorrow it up to us to make tomorrow filled with good choices.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
