Great ideas all - love the name too. KAYE21 - if it makes you happy to make a FB Group for us I say go for it. I just wouldn't ask anything of someone else that I would not do...and I totally wouldn't even kow where to being with that. But if you want to I say go for it - I'll be glad to join in with my 2 cents worth! ANd thank you!

Is that how you find us on FB? By our name? Duh I guess so... I am Marlene ALtman in SF Bay Area CA. And yes "COOL BEGINNINGS" is a GREAT title for the group! Much more positive and certainly better than what I'd suggested earlier ("COOL LOSERS"- ugh) . THX for setting this up ;-)

I wasn't kidding when I said I was technically challenged! Do you need my FB sign in name or my real name or what if I set up a FB page strictly for this, then what is needed?

I need your real name that you use on Facebook. If it's a popular name then I'll also need a description of your profile picture or something. Thanks!

Would you like to join our private July Facebook group? If so, I need your Facebook name to add you.

I've been adding everybody to the group but I'm not sure if it's working.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
