  4. I want to go to the support group at Bailey's so bad but I have social anxiety and am a major fraidy cat.
  5. Has anybody else had a burning pain that's on the left side of the abdomen? I don't know what I did but every time I move it burns. I called my surgeon and they told me to start taking my pain meds again, use my binder again, and alternate cold & heat packs. To top that off I've felt nauseous all day and have been vomiting off and on for 4 hours but I think it finally stopped. I see my surgeon on Friday but I'm freaking out a little. I'm so worried that something is wrong.
  6. Does anyone know of a good primary care physician who is knowledgeable in gastric bypass? Mine isn't and always tries to prescribe me things I can't have and didn't agree with my decision to have the surgery.
  7. I'm 5'6" and I've lost 14 lbs since surgery.
  8. I've been doing good. I've lost 17 lbs so far and still shrinking. I still hurt a little but it's just a slight nagging pain in my left side. TMI...I had a lot of bathroom problems but finally figured that out. Don't wait 3-4 days to take something (lowest dose of Milk of Magnesia worked for me)and stool softeners don't help at first but I continue to take them.

  10. I had the revision 7/15/15 from band to bypass and I was so nervous but it melted away as soon as I got into my hospital gown and met my nurses. You'll do great! Let us know how it goes.

  12. I didn't have the robot for my revision but did have it when I had a hysterectomy last September and it was awesome. I had the tiniest incisions and it didn't really hurt as much as other surgeries.
  13. I weighed 237 and was revised to bypass 7/15/15. I had very bad acid reflux too and that's why my surgeon didn't recommend the sleeve.

  15. I was only on the liquid diet for 3 days. I was always hungry and lost about 2 lbs.
  16. My stomach grumbled the whole time but after the 1st day I didn't feel as bad. I had my surgery 7/15 in Norman but live in Broken Arrow.
  17. Did anybody else have trouble with low blood sugar after surgery? On my last day in the hospital mine was 55 and they gave me diluted apple juice and it went up to 90. I've been feeling very light headed, shaky, and getting pins and needles easily. I called my surgeons office but nobody ever called back. Should I buy a blood glucose monitor?
