And that's what u r supposed to the 2 wks before surgery right? When r u supposed to do a clear liquid diet? That's only things like broth and Jello right? slvrsax 301 Posted December 13, 2013 Can I just go on the record and say I'd really like a chicken strip? I'd sell my second born for one. That is all. 2 coopspa and healthbound1 reacted to this
MouseOnTheMile 186 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) Sorry to interject, today was my one month surgiversary. Took my weight and measurements for the first time. HW:259 SW:245 CW:230 Lost 14 pounds preop, and now 15 post op for a total of 29 pounds I'm down 1" in my neck, 2.5" in my waist and 4" in my hips. Didn't take leg or arm measurements unfortunately. Could be more but at least its something. And weighing monthly has prevented stress over stalls so far so that's a positive. Hurrah! karliy 61 Posted December 13, 2013 Oh mouse that is so awesome!!! I just told my hubby tonight he needs to hide the scale! I weigh like 3 times a day! And I had a 2 week long stall which I finally broke through! So here are my stats! Surgery was 11/6. HW:260 SW:245 CW:223 Lost 6 inches in the waist and 4 in the hips and 1 in my neck! Soooo happy! 2 MouseOnTheMile and healthbound1 reacted to this
Adoptivemom 8 Posted December 14, 2013 I am getting excited about my surgery date and meeting fellow sleevers! I visited with my local doctor and filled him in on my plans. He thinks I'm crazy, but is supportive and gave me a script for phenegran (anti nausea). A recent sleever, a nurse in the US, suggested that I get this to take with me. She said the nausea was awful for her. I know everyone is different, but I would rather be ready. Any more tips for us traveling next week? Especially advice for those traveling alone.
