Snack ~ 1oz Emerald Dry Roasted Almonds

Lunch ~ 5 Tyson Any'tizer Buffalo Wyngs w/ 2 T Ranch For Dipping

Snack ~ 1oz Emerald Dry Roasted Almonds

Dinner ~ 2oz Baked chicken Breast w/ 1/4 C Cottage Cheese

b: starbucks iced chai tea latte with skim

b2: then an hour later i had quaker instant oatmeal

l: grilled chicken caesar salad---it's my thing this week:rolleyes2:

d: going to outback. i might eat a rib or two and some veggies. not sure yet

B - 3/4 cup honey bunches of oats with 1/2 cup 1% milk

L - 2 turkey tortillas with lite miracle whip

S - 2 chocolate graham crackers

D - 2 ham tortillas with lite miracle whip and 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese

how adorable!, hope it all goes well!

hi ladybug - i do keep track of my calories & try to stay around 1100....but just got a fill yesterday, so i might have to work back up to that number.

yesterday ~

b- EAS carb control choc shake

l- light delight smoothie

d- 1/3c cream potato Soup

today ~

b- 1/2c Fiber one squares w/2%milk and blueberries

l- :):eek: a dozen maybe fried pickles w/ ranch??? and the coldest beer ever. *** i had an extreme wkout w/hubby*** & just countered it all w/ the above calories

d- not part of todays' pic - still full

letting MIL cook and pamper me tomorrow - and i'm sure their will be "something fried or blackened"

... So bad that I didn't even bother to weigh myself this morning because I know I've gained :smile:

Lunch ~ 1 Crispy chicken Taco & Refried Beans from Las Fuentes

Snack ~ Tall Iced Vanilla Latte from Starbucks

"Dinner" ~ 1.5oz Mixed Dry Roasted / Jalapeno Smokehouse Almonds

Snack ~ Another Trip To Starbucks, This Time I Got The "Venti" (Largest) Size :biggrin:

Later ... 1 Slice Of Cinnamon Streusel Cake :eek:

I've never heard of that before and it sounds good! Do you make them yourself?

my husband is Texan by nature - but raised by Cajuns....

i love them - and fried pickles is probably one of my favorites. it's as good as it sounds. pickle chips fried - dropped in jalepeno ranch :biggrin:

today~

b - skinny latte

l- 1 slice colby jack cheese

d-3.5 (approx) blackend catfish ; 2 hushpuppies

s - :smile::eek: spoonful or 4 of peach cobbler -

      On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
      Soooo I am coming to a realization
      of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
