It's been a rough couple of days. My FIL was having chest pains at work yesterday, so he went to the hospital and ended up having 3 stints put in. Thankfully, he didn't actually have a heart attack and a lot of damage. So glad they caught it early.

Today

B- Activia yogurt

L- 1 cup Fiber One Cereal, 1/2 cup Hood milk

S- oatmeal raisin cereal bar

D- Spaghetti

Hi Everyone!

This is my first time posting my meals. Can someone tell me if they feel I am eating well? I feel I am eating small portions and healthy but I am losing slowly. I'm sure it's me being impatient.

B: 1/2 of a Protein Shake (vanilla soymilk, 1/4 banana, Protein, ice)

l: Gyro (only ate the lamb/beef meat inside and it had some taziki sauce-- maybe 3 ounces), 5 french fries-- too full

d: 1 filet of Orangy rought fish (100 calories/20 grams of protein... so delicious and sooo filling!)

s: string cheese wrapped in slic of turkey meat

Georgia Girl-sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope he is better soon.

I don't get it, Breakfast doesn't want to go down, but I am starving this evening. So strange.

Today-

B-coffee w/torani Syrup (no food)

L-KFC chicken strips, mashed potatoes (I am really killing myself with the carbs this week)

D1-crab salad (crab, green peas, celery, red onion)

D2-bowl rice crispies w/milk

I don't think I could handle a fill. I am going to have to get the carbs in order. Eating them is causing me to crave them even more.

Today, I had a pretty typical day...

Breakfast: 3/4 cup of Archer Farms Cinnamon Protein Cereal (I eat it dry, no milk... it's pretty yummy!)

Lunch: 1 cup pistachios in the shell (maybe 1/2 cup without shells?) eaten over a period of time

Dinner: fish filet with cheese on toast

My dinner varies but I usually have similar breakfasts and lunches... I mix it up a little, but I rely on my favorites.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
