It's official- I can eat anything!

As I have been reading the posts the past few months I saw how first time Sleevers had issues with certain foods. As someone who had revision surgery- I'm not having any issues. I waited a few months before trying things - I had my first cupcake for my sons birthday - no issues. ( I was only able to eat 1/2). Had my first popcorn at the movies - no issues ( split a small with my son- no butter) last night I had my first Subway sandwich- 6 inch flatbread. Had no problems ( took me 45 min to eat it and I was stuffed the rest of the night). I'm curious as to others- have any food issues since the revision? I have no plans to make this the norm for me, I knew that his birthday week I was going to be the 1 week I splurged ( still lost 2 pounds- before the subway sandwich)

I am 7 months out. I didn't have revision surgery...just the sleeve. I can eat anything. If I eat more than a cupcake I feel queasy. I don't dump but definitely don't feel good so I don't push it. I also find that steak doesn't feel so good in my stomach either. Like a big lump. So I usually just have skirt steak and that does fine.

I haven't had any problems with anything I have tried yet. I am still good with dairy, thank goodness... I love my cottage cheese and yogurt! I am good with all veggies so far, even able to eat a few bites of salad. I do well with ground beef or turkey. chicken, fish, seafood, eggs are all tolerated. I have done fine on ice Water since day 3, and I know some have issues with that. I really haven't tested the waters much because I am still so limited with a 2 oz capacity that I usually just choose Protein. I have only tried bread once... on half a topless sandwich... it was too filling, but didn't make me sick. I have always had a cast Iron stomach, I guess it is just a "mini" cast Iron stomach now.

It really amazes me how I can still be alive with the tiny bit of food I can eat. I am only 5 weeks out, but STILL!! I pureed some pork to have with a few green Beans. I (maybe) got in 1 tablespoon of the pork and 2 green Beans.

The only bread I've eaten ( besides the flatbread - toasted) is a sandwich thin toasted. I don't want to try regular bread, I want to eliminate that for now. Some days I feel my appetite increasing and some days not so much. I do get full pretty quickly but some days I'm hungry within 2 hours of eating. Other days I'm forcing myself to get the calories in

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
