  3. I had my surgery 8/17 and yes I have gotten nauseous after I eat a few times. It's usually because I ate too fast or too big of a bite. Slow Small bites is the key for me.
  4. Checking in from Spring Tx. Had my revision from the Lapband to Sleeve surgery August 17th. Dr. Turnquest is my surgeon (love him & his staff). I'm doing great so far. Still low energy but feeling better every day.
  5. Ask your surgeon for Zofran. It's for nausea and works wonders. Good luck!

  7. I was doing really good until last night. I had explosive diarrhea. Last night was awful! I'm still on clear liquids, so I only had broth, SF Jello, SF Popsicles, and crystal light but for some reason I had this episode last night. Has anyone else experienced this?
  8. Had surgery yesterday, on clear liquids until follow-up appointment next week. Starting to feel yuckie, I've only had about 8oz of water so far today. Hurts to swallow from

  10. I'm having my gallbladder removed along with the revision from band to sleeve all in one too. My surgeon says it doesn't add any additional time so no need for me to worry.
  11. No thankfully I don't have any problems like that. I've had to have all fluid removed. So many issues with trying fills then having to get unfilled. The band just didn't work for me. My cardiologist actually thinks it's causing my high heart rate issues. She specializes in electro-cardiology and has seen this issues in several lap band patients. So thankful my insurance covers the revision. Surgery on Monday the 17th. I'm excited and ready to go????

  13. Yes I had to get the psych eval before my doc would submit it to insurance. Thanks!

  20. Awesome question...I called my surgeons office before my EGD LLast week and asked the same thing. He asked me to come in for an unfill so you might want to ask. My surgery is a week after you on Aug17th. Best of Luck????
  21. Bittersweet is right but I'm so proud of him. Thanks for the well wishes.
  22. I had an abdominal ultrasound that revealed gallstones. I'll have my band to sleeve revision and gallbladder removed on Aug 17th. Seems like a lot in one surgery but my Dr. assured me it's safe. I've done quite a bit of research and many Bariatric docs are taking the gallbadder out if it has stones because rapid weight loss aggravates gallbadder issues. Personally I rather not have to have another surgery if I can help it. Wish me luck. Less than a month to go.
  23. Thanks for posting this question. My 1st born is going off to college 11 days after my surgery. His school is only a 2 hour drive and my hubby will do all the driving and they will handle the heavy lifting. I'm more concerned with my energy level. Will I be up to helping organize his room?
  24. Hi I'm having a band to sleeve revision August 17th
  25. My doc requires at least 1 night stay in the hospital. The next morning is when he does the leak test.
