TMI Warning 6days post op - diarrhea

I was doing really good until

last night. I had explosive diarrhea. Last night was awful! I'm still on clear liquids, so I only had broth, SF Jello, SF Popsicles, and crystal light but for some reason I had this episode last night. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same issues. It started on day 3 after surgery, with multiple episodes per day. It got better on full liquids to only once a day. I started puréed food a couple of days ago and have not had another episode. My MD told me that I could take Imodium pills. I took them once, but was really scared of having constipation from them. Not sure which would be better or worst?

If it is bothersome or you are worried, I would contact your doctor.

I had it for a day or two. It is common at some point in the liquid phase. Liquid in, Liquid out. I never took anything for it because it resolved itself in a short time.

@@ylluz contact your doctor he may want to check that a problem hasn't developed??
