My sleeve is scheduled for June 15th. I just brought my teens to the movies. They like sitting at the top row. I literally barely made it! Out of breath, legs hurt, and for the first time I touch the edges of my seat! I am so done with being twice my true self. June 15th hurry please!

Congratulations on making the decision to improve your health!

My husband and I go to the movies a lot and we always sit in the top row in the middle. They are after a.l the best seats.

Before my surgery I could barely make it up those steps. I thought I would give myself a heart attack. I would huff and puff for ten minutes.

Now, I can run up those steps! And you will be able to as well!

Tomorrow we are going to see the new pitch perfect movie with my granddaughter.

Hope your movie was a good one!

For so many of us it seems like we have waited forever for this! A chance, the hope of being a "normal" size! I start my liquid pre-op diet tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
