When will I feel better?

Recommended Posts

I had sleeve surgery on Tuesday, May 19. My surgeon also fix a stomach hernia that I didn't even know I had. My pain levels on Wed were far more than I expected despite pain medication. For two days I felt very nauseous and would try to vomit but nothing came up. I came home on Thursday and was sooooo tired. Feeling a bit better today and trying to drink my Water and Protein Drinks, but very low energy. How long until I feel like my old self?

I think that is normal. I was very tired the first two weeks, but it got better with time. I am only 3 and 1/2 weeks out so I don't have a lot more on you.

It's day 4 since my sleeve. I've had 2 Protein Shakes and clear liquid sine Tuesay and I'm very disappointed that I weigh the SAME as I did the day of surgery. Im felling better, mostly very tired, but I hash oped to lose something after going through the pain, nausea, etc.

Feeling better on Day 5. Made it to church this morning and was pretty tired, but recovered with a 3-hour nap after church. Feeling much better.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
