So, I was living in Arizona and had my 6 months of insurance required nutrition visits. Then we had to move because my husband is serving in the military. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to start over and if any of you have moved during this process?

Thanks!

I had to when I moved (2 different insurance providers) Are you using TriCare? They might be able to transfer your records.

Talk to them before the move to see what you need to do. If you are having it done at the base hospital there might be things you can streamline.

I switched practices half way through. I was incredibly uncomfortable with the former practice and feel so much better/safer with my new surgeon. I was open with my insurance company and they supported me 100%. Make sure you fill out all the HIPAA release forms ASAP and have your records emailed to you (paper copies can get lost/damaged). Your new practice should have no problem accepting the prior doctors information.

GOOD LUCK!

I started in Tricare north region then moved to South region I have Tricare standard. I changed from a clinic in Illinois to mayo Clinic in Florida. I just had all my records sent over and picked up from there. I was approved in the South region then moved back to the North region. Tricare told me as long as I have surgery where I was approved I will be OK. I will still have surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida where I was approved even though I now live in the North region. This is how Tricare standard works though. Prime is another type of beast

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
