Any sleevers scheduled for late July?

Hi there everyone,

I am new here and to this sleeve business! I am tentatively scheduled for late July, and I was wondering if anyone else here is roughly on the same timetable as I am. At this point, I am just getting my nutritional information together for the pre-op diet. i am both excited and scared. I know I can do this, but right now, I seems like a daunting task.

I'd love to hear how other pre-op sleevers are doing!

Thanks,

kbpaulie

I am July 27th, too--that's a lot of us!

I'm so excited and nervous. Some days I feel invincible; some days I feel worried about doing everything right after the surgery (it seems like a lot to keep track of, and the stakes are high). But I'm happy I'm doing it. Anyone else on an emotional roller coaster?

Yes I know what you mean I feel the same way a little overwhelmed but I'm sure we will get in the swing of it when the time comes. Good luck!!!!

I am also scheduled for late July! July 30th, hopefully. I am also just getting all of my ducks in a row as far as the pre-op diet goes. I should be starting this Thursday! :o I'm pretty nervous but at the same time, excited and ready to start this new life! When does your pre-op diet start?

July 31st here. Just approved today. So excited. Almost thought it wasn't going to happen due to denials.

I started a SECRET FaceBook Group (closed, nobody can see you are there) For July 2015 people only. I hope this can expand as a individualized community so we can help each other out through the same stages of this journey. I hope you can join. (1) Click the group link page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/June2015WLS/ (2) Request to Join. Membership needs to be approved. (3) The only way to approve is if you reply to this message and tell me what your FaceBook name is, so I can match up your request and approve you right away.

I hope you are doing well, and hope to see you soon!

Started my two week pre op diet, have a bit of a headache, first day was pretty rough have a very physical job and felt a little weak throughout the day, I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow

I'm July 28th, I'm in! I'll message you my name ????

Today was my second day of the pre-op diet. The days have not been too bad, although every thing anyone is eating sounds and smells great, rather I liked it before or not LOL, but I've managed. This time of evening is when the hunger hits me and I feel like I haven't eating enough. Hopefully in the next 12 days I'll be adjusted and the scale will show a nice pre-surgery suprise.

I don't facebook (I know that's surprising) so please continue to post here also from time to time so I can see how all my fellow July 28th sleevers are doing:-)

Had preadmission testing today and met with Nut and nurse. Made it all so surreal. My preop diet is 2 shakes and a sensible dinner being mindful to focus on protein and veg for that meal. Day before surgery will be just all clear liquids. Not so bad.
