Any sleevers scheduled for late July?

Hi there everyone,

I am new here and to this sleeve business! I am tentatively scheduled for late July, and I was wondering if anyone else here is roughly on the same timetable as I am. At this point, I am just getting my nutritional information together for the pre-op diet. i am both excited and scared. I know I can do this, but right now, I seems like a daunting task.

I'd love to hear how other pre-op sleevers are doing!

Thanks,

kbpaulie

Praying for everyone im getting sleeve this morning at 7:30 on my way to the hospital prayers going up to everyone on this day!

Today is the big day and I'm nervous as HELL! Sending positive thoughts and well wishes for a smooth surgery to everyone. (including myself!)

You will both be fine . I had my op 16 th July and feel pretty good . Kate I was the same as you very tired at the start . Good luck to all of the last jJuly sleever s we rock ????

I had mine yesterday 27th. First 24 hours are no joke. But I feel much better today make sure to walk as much as you can it helps alot.

So very true!! The first day was pretty rough but by day two I was feeling SO much better! Hang in there- I'm on day 5 now and feeling great!!

Good luck to everyone going in today! Woo hoo!!

Sally, how are you doing today?

My back hurts so much but other than that, I'm feeling okay. Had some ice chips already. Tijuana is great! My coordinator Trish from wls4betterlife is amazingly sweet. The doctors are all nice & knowledgable. My nurses are always there.

I had my surgery on the 28th. Apparently, I had a hiatal hernia and they repaired it too while they were doing the sleeve. Yesterday, I felt very nauseous so they did not discharge me yet. I am relieved though because it beats being home alone and nauseous. Trying to get all my liquids down today so I can leave this afternoon. So far it has not been that bad for me. The IV drips make you urinate a lot. But that's fine because every time I get up, I use it as an excuse to walk around. Walking makes you feel way better.

Just taking one day at a time. That's all we can do. post-259376-14382451751791_thumb.jpg

Hello July Sleevers I'm back,

Just like my_new_life time I also had a hernia that they repaired. And what was suppose to be an overnight stay turned into 2 nights. I'm not able to keep any food or liquids down so they kept me to monitor things. Still not able to keep much down, they think it is from swelling and should get better. They allowed me to come home today. All and all I'm fine and would do it all again.

Praying everyone else is doing fine. And my_new_life hang in there.:-)

I was sleeved on Monday and I'm doing great. They all thought I was a rockstar at the hospital, I even got discharged a day early. Yesterday was my first full day home and I drank 3 shakes and got in 58 grams of protein. I thought I'd be struggling more! Today I'll get 62 grams in. Yesterday I even drove my 3 kids to the dentist 20 minutes away. That was a bit much and I probably shouldn't have done it but I did. Today I had to bring my daughter to and from camp, but that a shorter drive in town. I'm pretty pleased with how well everything is going!
