Aside from getting into smaller sizes, I had my 1st NSV last night. We went out to dinner for the 1st time since surgery and went to a restaurant that we would normally wait for a table as the booths are so small and it'd be a very tight fit.

Well I didn't even think about it until I went to sit and there was plenty of room to spare! I was so shocked I didn't have to try to wiggle my way in and pretend I was fine.

It's definitely the small things! ????

Isn't that an awesome feeling!! Congratulations :D My first NSV is being able to trim my toenails without having discomfort and feeling like a contortionist!! I can actually get to them easily now!

That is great, ladies! And I totally get it. These NSV's are so important as you go along, and it was really nice for me to see this today since my scale is *not* budging at all. I posted this somewhere else a while back, but being able to shave the back of my thighs with ease was pretty cool :) Keep up the good work!

Thanks ladies! Yes every little NSV helps when the scale won't budge that's for sure! I know everyone says its just a number but I can't help but feel so defeated for a bit after weighing in and it not saying what I think it should.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
