I bought 2 tiny plates, a few tiny bowls, and some tiny Pirex containers with lids for when I return to work. I also bought toddler utensils.

These help me to remain very mindful as I'm measuring my portions and eating slowly.

I got some pretty sushi plates and Japanese tea cups and saki cups. I've also got some small salad plates and fruit bowls (some vintage and some new).

I found some pretty demitasse spoons. Still looking for appetizer forks I like.

Can you tell I love dishes?

I just ate off the teacup plates I already had and have now transitioned to the small salad plates. Use regular utensils. Surgery was expensive enough and I sure don't need more stuff taking up space in my cupboards!

I bought appetizer forks and spoons at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I also bought some toddler flatware for fun at Target. For plates/bowls I bought appetizer ramekins and plates at various stories (Bed, Bath, and Beyond; Target; World Market).

I have found that using the appetizer-sized dinnerware really does make me feel like I'm eating a full plate or bowl of food. Of course, sleevie helps too! ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
