Today is my big day and I'm so excited!!!

Hey all!! My surgery was 5/5/5, so I am exactly 1 week post op!! Feeling pretty darn good!! It is challenging getting my fluids in. Today I start full liquids and just had my first sip of my protein shake. How is everyone else doing???

I had mine May 5th as well. Going great- tired of liquids lol, using Isopure to get the protein in, and struggling with energy some, but I'm sure after years of constant motion my body is happy for a break!

May 5th & 1 wk postop. My brother died the morning of my surgery and we have had to fly Dallas yesterday to arrange for his burial. Trying to keep sipping and taking rest breaks .

Just found out insurance approved so I can officially join this group without fear of jinxing myself. I will be sleeved on May 18th in just 4 days. Now I can start to freak out about actually having surgery.
