I am so hungry. Today is day 5 of the liquid diet.

How do you do it? I am so hungry that I feel sick to my stomach. I am not sure I can do another 9 days. Any advice?

Suck it up, Buttercup. You CAN do this. You're worth it. It gets easier around day 5. Stay busy, chew gum, sleep, stay away from loved ones, apologize in advance, starts looking at websites of all the clothes you'll want to buy....

You can do it. One day still a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time.....

keep positive thoughts! your on your way to new you! do some online shopping , chew some gum or suck on sf mint..keep your mind on other things. you'll be going thru this from now for a while. :) I just did it!!

sugar free Jello and sugar free pudding kept me sane that and looking at the scale in the morning.

I'm struggling too! 7 more days for me. We can do it!

I am on day 12 of my Optifast. After about day 5 or 6, it got much easier. When I have my Soup, I'm very full. Yesterday I actually had to remind myself to drink my last shake of the day. Wasn't hungry at all. I have also felt very good on the liquid diet after about day 6 - lots of energy, etc. But yes, the first 5-6 days SUCKED!
