Peeing too much

Recommended Posts

12 weeks out and lately I've been noticing no matter how little I drink I feel like I need to pee I remembered in the beginning I wouldn't pee for hours. I try to hold it in for as long as I can because it's usually just the sip I just took that makes me want to GO.

I see my surgeon next week but I just was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Protein and low carb makes your body release Water... If you had edema, peeing is a good sign.

If you find you are drinking way more than you used to, that can be a problem... If it hurts or burns when you pee, or you feel like you can't completely empty your bladder.. Those can be signs of a uti.

On the other hand, based on what you are describing... You got used to being dehydrated, now you are able to drink more... So based on info given, probably not a problem. Be interesting to know what your doc says

Yeah I've never had a uti before so Idk how that would feel but I'm in zero pain it's just an inconvenience because I sip and it's like oh gotta pee! But I usually just hold it in until it builds up to the point that yeah its time to go haha.

You also probably shouldn't hold it. Holding it can cause problems as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
