Jump up and down for sure!!!! Don't be terrified, stay calm and KNOW everything is going to be just fine and EXCITEMENT should be the word, cause it will be a very exciting future for you!! The BEST is yet to comem you'll see... Stay positive, go into this with faith and more importantly than anything, WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK to help with your gas discomfort after surgery, a few days later you'll feel like nothing and a month out, the weight will be already coming down fast and you'll be energized and feeling amazing!! good luck!!

Kathy0529, I go to hospital at 11am and surgery is at 1. I wish it was earlier though. :). Are you on all liquids or did you eat something light today?

@@boosh10 I wish mine was earlier, too. They never said to do anything different the day before so I did my typical pre op diet day - 4 Protein drinks (3 done so far), 2 fruits, 64 ounces of Water (32 down, 32 to go) and 4 ounces of lean Protein. I'm a very picky eater and can't eat any more vegetables since I don't like that many, it's been hard to have the same thing over and over again, so I skipped veggies tonight.

I will have a sugar free snack that's allowed in my pre op diet plan.

The hospital said no food, but I could have clear fluids up till 3 hours before Surgery, but my doc's instructions say nothing after midnight. I'm going to try and go with out anything, but if I feel the need, then I'll have some Water.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
