Does anyone else have an exercise peak?

I am more motivated to exercise around 12-3pm and there are no classes at my gym at that time. I feel like I get pushed harder in a class then when I'm on my own sometimes. Personal trainer would be great but that is way too much money. Also, does anyone swim and have a swim routine that works? And any gyms across country that offer classes throughout the day?

The magic words: "swim".

Can you tell me something about your swimming ability? I don't want you to do what I used to do when competing.

Used to be on a swim team and swimming has been in my life since I was a kid. Just don't know I good starting off routine.

I do better i think later...during the week i start my job at 9 and finished at 5..so early is not a option but saturdays and sundays and today since am off i was at the gym early...I don't think time matters as long as you are moving....

@@Faithluvhope84 Are you on US Masters? One year membership is $35 and is from Jan to Dec (you can join in November and it goes for 14 months). They have a number of things that will help you.

Do you have any masters' teams near you?

I am a morning exerciser. I find if I don't do it right after a protein shake in the morning, I will be too tired by the end of the day. Also I use a Fitbit and I love the boost I get first thing in the day. It motivates me to keep driving my activity level up.

I work rotating 12 hour shifts.....two weeks of days, then two weeks of nights, so "mornings" can be different for me.

That being said, I usually like to exercise within an hour of waking up. Just seems to make my whole day better!

Sometimes running outside at 3:30am can be tricky though, especially during the winter. I so wish I could enjoy treadmills...but I don't. :)

I have to do it in the morning so it's top priority. Otherwise other things take over and I end up not being able to get back around to it. Like another poster said above, I have trouble with evenings -- just want to unwind. Plus it's cold and we live in a rural area so hard to pry myself out of the house. And yes, whole day made better by exercise. Absolutely!

Yes at night I don't want to get out of the house plus, our gym is jammed packed after work hours.

Yes there is a masters league here at the gym I'm at. I'll look into it and see if it's a right fit for me! Thank you!

I like to exercise between 1-3pm before the kids get home from school it's just easier.

and if I wait until later I feel sluggish for some reason.

Mornings all the way. It sucks until you get used to it, and then it still sucks but I have a routine and that's the only way I can get it done. It's not too bad when I don't have to be at work until 9 but today I have to be there at 7 which is why I'm up at 430 writing this. I should already be on my way to the gym.
