Recommended Posts

Has anyone have severe Mensural issues post op? I am one month post op and am having the heaviest and worst cramps of my life. I am following up with the doctor, but just curious if others have had issues as well.

Aw sorry to hear.. I had this problem but luckily it only happened for 1 month and the rest of months have been fine. if it persist make sure to let the doc know at your follow ups. they told me to use tylenol when this happens. also following up with gyn is a good idea too. good luck and take care hope you feel better soon :)

I was fine until I got the nexplanon birth control implant in my arm about a month after surgery. Between my body going crazy cause I lost 85 pounds in two months and the hormones in the birth control. I had the heaviest nastiest period for 5 months straight. The doctor finally had to give me drugs to stop it. I hope you don't end up in situation like me.

Thanks. I have such a low threshold for pain that it is probably not as bad as some, but I just wanted to pass out it hurt so bad today. Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen tomorrow

Mine is coming every 2 weeks. Last 7 seven days. I have a mirena iud and the Dr just put me on the pull to reintroduce some hormones.

I am 4 months post op. I have had constant cramps. I feel like I am bleeding all the time. I will have a day off here and there.. But that's it. I was wondering if this was a common thing. I thought my body would regulate by now. The cramping is awful!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
