Twoterville at last!

Recommended Posts

I'm almost giddy with excitement that my weight starts with a "2". It has been longer than I can remember since I have been here and I'm so psyched. I received a jawbone 24 for Christmas and I think this will really help me continue my journey. Does anyone else have one? Its one of those things you wear on your wrist that tracks your steps, calories burned, reminds you to get up and move if you have been idle too long, tracks your goals, monitors your sleep patterns, all kinds of things!

Anyway....I wanted to share. I have perma-grin today. Onward!!! and happy new year!

Congrats! Keep up the great work!

I use a fitness tracker as well. It is a great tool. I find myself parking at the far end of the parking lot, taking the long way to the break room or restroom at work or just going for a quick walk when I have nothing else to do, all to up my step count for the day. It can be addictive, but it is a great addiction to have!

I have the FitBit, which works pretty much the same as the Jawbone...I love it, and it's a great motivator!!!

Wishing you much success!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
