So I have recently had a total hysterectomy due to Uterine cancer. I am only 34 and this is usually not a cancer found in those my age. I know there is a connection between obesity and uterine cancer and I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this? It was about 18 months after surgery that I was diagnosed, and 250 lbs lighter. Just trying to find out if I'm the only one,

Hi Katie--

I recently found out I have a "navel-orange" sized fibroid/mass on my uterus, and I will have another vaginal ultrasound on Friday to look at growth (after 1 month). My gyn. is concerned about it. I plan to see a gynecologic oncologist ASAP to get it biopsied. What were your symptoms? I have abnormal bleeding (despite the Mirena), bloating, digestive pain, and low back pain. I will be 41 on the 26th of this month.
