Holy love of measurements!

congratulations on your results and thanks for the wonderful reminder that the scale isn't the only tool for measuring success on this journey. I really appreciate that.

Congrats! I hope when I have my surgery I don't fall victim to the devilish scale

Just last night I told my husband how I wished I had taken pre-op measurements! I took pictures, but not measurements. ???? I'm a month out and can tell a big difference in clothes, so I know I'm losing inches, just not sure how much!

I guess it's not too late...I can measure today and keep track from this point on.

You're doing an awesome job!

Yay! So I finally got brave and re measured the two places that I had written down from the drs office. I am - 1.5 in the neck and - 4.5 in the waist. Down a total of 45 lbs since September 9. I still have 2 months of supervised weightloss/nutrition before I get a date for surgery, but I will take those numbers any day!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
