Recommended Posts

I read so many scary stories on here about. But I stoped pain pills around 10 pm last night. And I really wanna go do something. A little gas pain but the gas x strips help. At the start I thought I was going to puke but it was just gas. I also want to add the entire staff was beyond my expectation at dr Umbach at blossom bariatrics. ????

Congratulations! I'm feeling the same way too! Other than the slight gas, I feel normal. Let's hope it stays this way.

Just take it slow for a bit! Get outside and get a few minutes of fresh air, but take it slow. You just had major surgery. :) I'm so happy to hear you are doing great. Enjoy the new adventure. Remember to sip, walk, sip, walk! :)

JamieMurphy, glad you are doing well! I just got home from the hospital today and feel really good, too. I was very worried going in, and it's such a relief to come out of surgery and feel decent. I'm excited to start 2015 with a new stomach and new lease on life.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
