  1. This normal after surgery. The layers that use to keep us warm are gone. We must get use to it. I'll take a sweater over my old fat!!
  2. I was off only 6 days and it was enough. My goal after surgery was to follow orders and feel as well as can be. I had no issues going back other than being slower than usual. The walking from meeting to meeting also is an added benefit. Good Luck.
  3. This may sound cheesy but I'm so excited for tonight. With all my weight loss, I've never felt this sexy!! I hope you all are feeling the same way!! Have fun tonight!! I am!!!
  4. Save your money! Go on Pinterest. So many great ideas for free.
  5. Feeling great! Sleeved December 29th and I'm down 23lbs. Starting to eat soft foods. Need to Learn to get more creative with foods choices, but trying hard.
  6. Haha! Best one I've read today!!
  7. Has anyone had weird a weird menstrual cycle since having surgery? This is the second time my cycle has been really off since having surgery. Does it get normal again?
  8. Within two weeks for me! Felt like an eternity.
  9. Believe all of us when we say you will be feeling a lot better in a few weeks. This is just a little bump in the road to your future success and weight loss. I've never felt better and I'm down 18 lbs since surgery on the 29th. Get ready for a new wardrobe!!
  10. Sleeved on the 29th. Weighed in at 213 and now I'm 195 lbs. I'm down 18 pound so far and I feel great!! My clothes are so big now and it's just the beginning.
  11. Hi guys! Saw the doctor and nutritionist yesterday and I've lost 18 pound since surgery. So happy. I've already had to give away so many clothes because they are too big. I hope everyone else is feeling as good as me. I finally get to start purees next weeks since my programs requires more liquids initially. So happy.
  12. I was already worried but now I feel relieved. I'm on my third week and still have two more weeks of liquids according to my plan. The nutritionist finally told me I can add yogurt and Creamy soups because I was feeling like the other wasn't enough. Thanks for your help.
  13. Can you guys share what you are eating to get the 600-800 calories. I'm finding it so hard this first week.
  14. I'm so glad I read this. I was sleeved on Dec 29th and only lost weight the first week. I'm walking and taking all my protein. On my third week now so I'm hoping to at least lose a pound or two.
  15. Hi Sleever's!! Have any of you started to drink regular coffee? It's been two weeks and I'm wondering if I can.
  16. You're not alone. I was sleeved on the 29th and I still have two more weeks of liquids.
  17. I was sleeved on the 29th and I've only lost 15 pounds so far. For some reason I feel this is low but then again it's 15 pounds. I'm having difficulties getting out and walking but all my intakes are good. Maybe this is the reason. Not sure.
  18. My program requires 4 weeks on Luis but my nutritionist just gave me permission to have soups that are creamed and as long as I don't Chew. So glad Because I was already getting bad hunger pains. I had soup for the first time and felt so good. Only a little could go through but it was heaven.
  19. I'm still on liquids but find myself starting to get hungry. Are any of you feeling the same? I'm drinking all my protein so I can't quite figure it out.
  20. You need a new person for sure. I'm 5'2 and was 225lbs when approved for surgery and then 213 at surgery day. I too thought I cant lose anymore or they won't operate on me. This is not the case. Your BMI and health issues are what determine it. Nutritionist wants you to eat right and of course you will lose weight. People like us who have struggled all our life with weight issues find this so hard. I tried everything. This was by far my best decision. I'm under 200lbs now and haven't been like this in over 15 years and I was just sleeved two weeks ago!!! Best decision ever!! The future is bright!! ????☀️????☀️
