RNY, 6 or 7 incisions. 15 months post-op tomorrow and I can hardly see them anymore.

I had the lap band about 10 years ago and I have 4 incisions and then I had it removed and they took it out using the same four incision points. I hope this helps!

I have 6 or 7. I have a radical hysterectomy laparoscopically years ago and had 3 incisions from that. One of those abcessed and is a little larger than the others. The rest are from my sleeve.

I have 5. The main one was really bad, but it is better now. Of course I had a hysterectomy in May and gall bladder surgery a few years go. Also hernia surgery. I am very white, and most of the scars still show. I look like I was machine gunned!

In time, the scars will vanish. I don't worry about them too much. The whiter you are, the longer it takes.

I had 6. I'm pretty sure one was an "oops!" Because it was puny and never hurt like the others did and healed super fast.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
