who would have thought??

3 years ago, a scared little (big) rabbit had WLS

i was scared about the unknown - what to expect in my future

i crept down 105 lbs/GOAL in one year

past two years fluctuating/maintaining 3-5 lbs

at times i have weighed a "little" more

honesty, confession is good for the sole :)

i'm not perfect, welllll actually ;)

i do graze sometimes :o

or eat more than i should during the day

i don't enjoy not drinking while eating

i don't always get my 64 oz of Water

i don't exercise :o

but............

i don't weigh 235 lbs anymore :)

many wonderful things have been going on in my new life :)

my health is wonderful :)

this "sexy at 60" looks pretty HOT!! :D

we built a beautiful new house last year but.............

I don't hide in the house anymore

i find reasons to leave the house

drive here there and everywhere :)

love running errands

of course clothes shopping toooooo!!!

I do volunteer work

(I would never have put myself "out" amongst people pre WLS)

my confidence, happiness have gone through the roof

many other things i can't think of

(my memory hasn't improved :D )

with the "assistance" of the sleeve - my new world is amazing :)

that is my story and i'm stick' to it!!!

my wishes/thought/hopes

that everyone in the "world"/especially my fellow sleevers

be as happy as i am today - for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer, life

kathy

congrats to me :)

Kathy, you're such an inspiration to me and always have an encouraging word. Congratulations !!!

I love reading your responses, and I'm proud of you and for you too!

What a great testimony. It is especially encouraging to me because I am that scared rabbit right now. My surgery will be Jan. 6. You know what I am going through right now, ups and downs, excitement, fear. I will be so glad when I don't dread the surgery and am on the other side, never to look back only forward to a more healthy life.

Thanks for noticing the "lost" weight. I wish! Haha. Got that corrected. I start my pre-op diet the day after Christmas. How's that for timing? Excellent. Trying to get all my ducks in a row for post- op diet. Wondering if there is any flavor of baby food fit to eat? Just wanted an emergency option.

Congratulations. So proud of you!

Congrats! :)

pre-op diet day after Christmas. any flavor of baby food fit to eat?

@@1babyjane

i have heard/seen some people eat baby food

not for me!!!

don't want to even say those words ;)

enjoy your Christmas dinner

"try" not to overdue toooo much

remember, thats all the more weight you have to lose before/after surgery

congrats on getting all your ducks in a row

what, no chickens :D (sorry bud, the devil made me say that  )

good for youbeing all prepared

don't buy too much of one specific Protein shake

taste buds frequently chanage

you might not like that same Protein powder in a couple of weeks

hope you have someone to support or help you at home for a bit

not always necessary - just nice to have

but.....you can do it on your own :)

remember, we're here :)

good luck with pre-op

sleeve surgery next month :)

take care bud

speedy recovery :)
