Positive People at my side...negative people stand behind!

Recommended Posts

So I have been back and forth for over three years with WLS. This past year has been draining for me. My father was ill, started a new job, lost my dad to Cancer, lost my job three weeks after my dad past, was unemployed for five months. I have done for many people and always put others before me and supported whatever they felt was important.

I am 5ft and 249lbs. I have made the decision to have the sleeve on Jan. 5, 2015 it's time to do ME!

I just got my surgery date so I am only tell those that are close to me. Some reactions made me smile and know they will be there. Only two people who I am closest to think I should not have the surgery. Well guess what I am so ready for this that all though it upsets me that they can't see or feel how important it is for me. I will not allow it to rain on my parade! Get ready 2015 I am going to own you LOL!! ????#timeforjune

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
