Platuea, 5:2 intermittent fasting

Recommended Posts

Ok people out there in lap band world, I have hit a plateau and I'm going insane!! Eating 1000-1200 calories a day tracking with my fitness pal and I can't drop anything significant!! Driving me crazy feeling like a failure, it's been atleast 3 months since I have seen a good change on the scales. I have heard about this 5:2 intermittent fasting and I'm interested in doing it. I have read all I can find about it online but I'm interested to hear about anyone in this forum whose tried it, how it's worked for them and any tips!! ????

I'm doing it since early September and it helped jostle my weight loss again. There's a thread I started but I don't know how to link to it from my phone.

I actually up my calories in a stall (with healthy foods) but I go up to 1200-1400 calories for 2 days, then back to my 800-1000 and so far it has worked. I think it gives a reset - at least to me. I also increase the carbs a bit more as an overall percentage of my fat/protein/carb ratio. I do 100-150gm of carbs for those two days I increase.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
