Has anyone tried Crossfit?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about this, but not really sure I could handle it. Any experience out there?

I feel like I am at the point where walking and biking are getting a little too easy and I need to get something more hardcore for the winter in particular.

I did a few intro sessions ages ago. It was incredibly difficult and intense.

I loved the idea but wasnt ready physically to do it. Workout was really challenging and w little time to rest. i. would say my exercise tolerance was relatively high back then, i didnt pile all the kilos yet...

How far along post op are you?

You can always try and leave if it gets too intense.

I'm 9 months out but still have at least 25 lbs or lose. So it may be a little early for me to go down this Crossfit path. I like the Zumba idea - never tried it but maybe it could help with the winter. At this point, my favorite thing is to walk 3-4 miles several days a week and bike too. Occasionally, I do a video like Jillian Michaels.

Thanks for inputs!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
